Momma Tells Charon

Bind me in stylish cerecloth

while my little nightmares nap.

Find me unexpired coupons for

essentials Styx stocks on its isles.

But wait, ferryman of tired souls.

I, keeper of this modern hearth,

have oh so much farther to go.

I shall fashion my own oar amid

this home’s flotsam and jetsam,

and continue to row, row, row.
